Chartwell Compliance (“Chartwell,” “we,” “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. There are various ways that you might interact with Chartwell, and the information you provide when doing so allows us to improve our services. By using our website (“Site”) and by supplying your details to Chartwell, you consent to Chartwell collecting and processing your information.

What Information Do We Collect?

Chartwell may collect or record basic personal information (e.g., name, email address, mailing address, and phone number) which you voluntarily provide through forms on our Site, through electronic mail you send us, or through other means of communication between you and Chartwell.

Chartwell only collects more sensitive personal information (e.g. social security and other government ID numbers, credit card details and account numbers) where it is appropriate or necessary for business purposes. This information will be collected, stored, accessed and processed in a secure manner.

Demographic information, including gender and occupation, is not actively sought, but may be submitted when a visitor submits an online job application. It is Chartwell’s policy to limit the information to only minimum information required to complete a visitor’s request.

Visitors are also able to send email through the site. Their messages will contain the user’s screen name and email address, as well as any information the user may wish to include in the message. Because visitors can apply for employment with Chartwell, the website may also result in the user submitting a resume online.

For What Do We Use Your Information?

Chartwell uses the information we collect to provide you with services which you request and to improve our existing service offerings. When you contact Chartwell, we may keep a record of your communication to help solve any issues that you might be facing. Depending on the country in which you live, work or access our site(s), your information may be retained for a reasonable time for use in future contact with you, or for future improvements to Chartwell Compliance services. In the event the information you provide to us is an application for employment, that application will be held in accordance with our HR records management policy.

How Do We Protect Your Information?

The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow industry standards of technology and operational security to protect personal information submitted to us. Personal information is protected from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction via computer safeguards and secured files. All Chartwell Compliance employees adhere to an information security policy, and only authorized personnel have access to personally identifiable information after having agreed to ensure confidentiality of this information.

Do We Disclose Any Information to Outside Parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential according to the standards as stipulated by Chartwell Compliance. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, no personally identifiable visitor information will be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
